These terms cover training.enlighteningsales.info, the manufacturer training hub run by Enlightening Sales, a manufacturers' representative for lighting, controls and door hardware in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. By registering for a course you agree to them, together with the privacy notice at /privacy and, for drawing eligible courses, the drawing rules at /drawing-rules.
Who may register
The courses are written for people who sell, specify or install lighting: showroom associates and managers, distributor salespeople and branch managers, contractors and electricians, landscape and irrigation professionals, interior designers, architects and builders. Registration is free. You must be 18 or older.
Your registration details
Register with your own name, your work email, the business you work for and a phone number where the business can reach you. Keep them accurate; your certificate carries the name and business you enter, and your completion is reported to the manufacturer under them. Enlightening Sales may correct or remove a registration that is inaccurate or made for someone else.
One account per person
Register once, with one email address. Registering the same person under several addresses, or registering on someone else's behalf, voids the extra registrations and any drawing entries they produced. A course may be retaken, but only the first passing assessment counts as a completion.
Certificates
A certificate records that the named person passed the assessment for a named course and version on a given date. It is a record of completion issued by Enlightening Sales, not a license, an accreditation or a manufacturer authorization, and it grants no authority to represent Enlightening Sales or the manufacturer. Certificates can be verified by their code at /verify. Enlightening Sales may withdraw a certificate that was obtained with false registration details or by someone other than the named person.
Companion tools
Some courses unlock access to a companion tool, such as a configurator or quoting tool. Access is granted at Enlightening Sales' discretion, may be limited to the trade, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without affecting your certificate.
The weekly drawing
Completing a drawing eligible course earns one entry in the weekly drawing. The drawing is governed by the drawing rules at /drawing-rules, which set out eligibility, drawing weeks, how winners are chosen and the prize.
Course content
The course material, including manufacturer product information, images, reference pages and assessments, belongs to Enlightening Sales or to the manufacturer whose products it describes and is provided for your own training. Do not copy, redistribute, resell or publish it, and do not share assessment answers. Prices shown in any course are published retail and may change without notice.
No warranty
The courses are provided as they are. Enlightening Sales does not promise that the hub will always be available, that the material is complete or free of errors, or that a course meets any particular requirement of your employer or a manufacturer. Product specifications come from the manufacturer and can change; always confirm a specification against the manufacturer's current documentation before you sell or install.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Enlightening Sales is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the hub, a course, a certificate, a companion tool or the drawing, and its total liability to you for any claim is limited to the value of the prize actually awarded to you, if any. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
Enlightening Sales may change the courses, the tools, the drawing or these terms at any time. The current terms are always at /terms with the date they were last updated. Continuing to use the hub after a change means you accept the changed terms.
